About us

At North Coast Motorcycle Training we are committed to delivering high quality motorcycle training across Cornwall.

We are a family run business and pride ourselves on offering a friendly service tailored to your individual needs. From beginners aged 16 who’ve never touched a motorbike before to the most experienced bikers we believe we have something to suit everyone.

Our chief instructor, Steve, is an experienced DVSA qualified instructor with a SAMSUNG CSCpassion for passing on the knowledge he has gained from over 30 years of motorcycling. In his previous careers, both in the British Army and as a construction site manager, he gained much experience of instructing and training people in a wide range of skills. In his spare time he loves to travel and has been off road riding across the Sierra Nevada in Spain and in 2014 rode 2500 miles across America from Los Angeles to Dallas on a Harley Davidson.

Our CBT instructor Paul has a great passion for motorcycling. He enjoys meeting new people of all ages and loves helping them start their journey on two wheels. Paul has over 30 years riding experience and has trained for RoSPA as well as ridden for Cornwall Blood Bikes. He currently rides a Honda Africa Twin. In his spare time Paul enjoys spending time with his family and playing the violin.

Chris is our Executive Secretary, she is the person you are most likely to speak to when you contact us on the telephone or by email. Her job involves taking bookings, booking mod 1 and mod 2 test slots and the day to day administration for the business. She has been with us since 2016 and in that time as built up an excellent knowledge of the process of learning to ride from CBT through to DAS and beyond and she is happy to advise on any of our courses when you get in touch.

Here at North Coast Motorcycle Training we believe that motorcycle riding should be accessible and enjoyable for anyone. If you have any specific needs or requirements give us a call to discuss.
